RESERVE YOUR LANE:
Every Monday at 5pm we will be publishing the schedule for the week to come. The link will be refreshed and current reservations for swim slots and water aerobics will be available. Please note that you will need a debit or credit card to pay. Pacifica resident registration will be on Mondays at 5pm and you will need a code to access the sign up genius. All non-resident and residents will be able to sign up on Wednesdays at 5pm with no code.
In an effort to minimize the frustration that some swimmers are feeling about not being able to reserve lap times at the pool, we will begin offering advanced registration for Pacifica residents. Starting on Monday, February 15th, Pacifica residents will be able to sign up for swimming and water aerobics slots 48 hours in advance of non-residents. Registration will open to everyone for the remaining swimming and water aerobics slots every Wednesday at 5:00pm.
Before this new system can be initiated, we will need your help...
Here is what we need from you before Monday, February 15th @ 8:00am if you are a Pacifica resident:
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach me at 650-738-7461 or email@example.com.
We hope this will help improve the quality of lap swimming and water aerobics signups for all.

Presenting the Jean Brink Pool
The Brink Swimming Pool is a 10 lane, 25 yard indoor pool that is open year round. The City of Pacifica, Parks Beaches & Recreation Department is the primary user of the pool and offers a wide array of aquatic programs for participants. Cost is $10.00 per lap swim or water aerobics class for adults and seniors. You must have a reservation in order to swim or take an aerobics class. Pool hours of operation, dates, and times will be updated as the City of Pacifica has information available during COVID. The Brink pool boasts a 1 meter and a 3 meter diving board. Depth ranges from 3 feet to 12 feet. Pool temperature is maintained at 82 degrees. There are dressing rooms that include lockers; however, participants must provide their own locks and towels.
Jean served on the Jefferson Union High School District Board of Trustees for twenty years (1988-2008). Jean is an avid swimmer and has been swimming here since the pool opened in 1978 Master Swimmer. Jean has been the unofficial "eye on the pool", alerting the District of user concerns, graffiti, or maintenance that needed attention. Over several years, she and other volunteers helped the Pacifica Sea Lions Swim Team with our beautiful tile mosaic on the far wall inside the pool building. As a resident of Pacifica, Jean has served her community beyond the realm of the Board of Trustees. She has volunteered for the City of Pacifica, Parks Beaches and Recreation Department, a committee person and volunteer for Pacifica's annual Fog Fest, a member of the Library Task Force and a volunteer at Sunset Ridge Elementary School. Her service has been recognized by the City of Pacifica as the Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department Volunteer of the Month and by the California Parks and Recreation Society's District IV Volunteer Award. If there is an opportunity to help, Jean can be counted upon to volunteer.
A Little History
In November of 1974, the residents of Pacifica passed Proposition C and committed funds to help Jefferson Union High School District with the construction of an indoor pool on the Oceana High School Campus. Jefferson provided 65% of the funding and the residents of the city 35%. The pool opened for business after 4 years of construction, on June 19, 1978. Listed below are the school district and city council members who had an active role in promoting and making this facility possible.
From San Francisco:
Take Highway 1 south into Pacifica. Take the
Paloma/Francisco exit. At the end of the off-ramp
