Frontierland Park is nestled up against the hills of Pacifica with lots of open space and picnic, BBQ, horseshoes, and playground amenities.

There are several individual picnic tables located around the perimeter of the park which is first come, first serve and have small BBQ pits that are available for use at no cost. Only the large BBQ area requires a reservation.

Take Linda Mar Boulevard east until it ends, turn left on Oddstad Boulevard and then right on to 900 Yosemite Drive.

Frontierland Park Large BBQ Area Reservations

To reserve the large BBQ area, please fill out the Frontierland Park Reservation Form and email it to skrenn@pacifica.gov, or mail it to 170 Santa Maria Ave, Pacifica with Attn: Sabrina Krenn

Please note that the $25 non-refundable security deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. The $275 reservation fee can also be paid upfront, but must be paid no later than 30 days before the reservation date

Payment can be made by:

• Filling in the credit/debit card information section on the Frontierland Park Reservation Form allowing PB&R staff to charge your card
• A check can be mailed to: City of Pacifica, 170 Santa Maria Avenue, Pacifica CA 94044, Attn: Sabrina Krenn
• A check or exact amount of cash can be processed at the Community Center (540 Crespi Drive, Pacifica CA 94044)
• Paying online using your ActiveNet account: Home | ActiveNet - Online Recreation Activities (staff must approve and process your reservation form first for this option to appear on your account)

 Frontierland Park Info & Rules

• Area is CLOSED for reservation December- February. 
• Cannot reserve more than six (6) months in advance of reservation date.
• The large group area can only be reserved by groups of 30 or more due to lack of other large group facilities in the city. Max is 250.
• The fee for the large group BBQ picnic area is $275.00 and a $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking the reservation.
• All paperwork and fee balance are due no later than 30 days before the event.
•  All required forms must be received by the Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Department, if not the reservation will be automatically canceled.
• In the reserve large-group picnic area, 10 picnic tables, which seat about 6 to 8 people each. This picnic facility has a counter prep area, 2 BBQ pits, a sink with running water, and an electrical outlet. and additional garbage receptacles designated specifically for this area as well.
• You will need to contact the Parks Beaches and Recreation Department during normal business hours the week of your reservation to obtain the code to unlock the BBQ pits.
• The park closes at Dusk and the parking lot is closed by the park ranger.
• Bring large garbage bags for trash collection. All garbage must be taken out of the park by the parties that generate it.
• Alcoholic beverages and Glass containers are prohibited in parks and on beaches by City of Pacifica ordinance.
• You cannot bring your own BBQ into the park.
• No softball or hardball is allowed in the park.
• No inflatable jumping/bouncy houses/rooms, toys or pools are allowed in the park.
• No sound amplification is allowed in the park.
• No driving or parking is allowed in the park. Use the parking lot or street parking.
