Pacifica is a culturally-vibrant community, located twelve miles south of San Francisco on the Coast Highway, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) or State Route 1. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is 11 miles from Pacifica with flights daily to and from all areas of the world. Located directly on the Coast, Pacifica is very close to the Port of San Francisco which is only 15 miles away. The closest currently-operating railroad system is 9 miles away in San Bruno.
