Climate Action and Resilience Committee –
The Climate Action and Resilience Committee (CARC) is a standing advisory body established by the City Council in September 2025 to advise the City Council on the implementation of the Climate Action and Resilience Plan. Members include residents and youth representatives dedicated to building a more sustainable Pacifica.
Climate Action and Resilience Plan –
The Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP) is Pacifica’s long-term strategy for addressing climate change. Originally adopted in 2014 and updated in 2025, the Plan outlines actions to cut emissions, transition to clean energy, enhance transportation options, reduce waste, and prepare for climate impacts. The updated CARP integrates community input and measurable goals to track progress toward a more resilient and low-carbon future.
