The Human Resources Division is an essential part of the Administrative Services Department, dedicated to supporting the city's workforce and ensuring a thriving and inclusive workplace. Our mission is to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with employment regulations, promoting diversity, and enhancing the employee experience. We take pride in serving our community and supporting our workforce with integrity and professionalism.

Our HR team consists of a Human Resources Manager, a Senior HR Analyst, and two HR Analysts, all committed to providing excellent service and support to our employees.

Responsibility

As part of the Administrative Services Department, our HR Division plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the city’s workforce by offering comprehensive services, including:

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment – Attracting and hiring the best candidates through fair and competitive hiring practices.

  • Employee Relations & Labor Relations – Promoting positive relationships between employees, management, and bargaining units.

  • Training & Professional Development – Offering skill-building programs and career advancement opportunities.

  • Compensation & Benefits – Managing equitable salary structures and comprehensive benefits packages.

  • Workplace Safety & Compliance – Upholding workplace safety standards and ensuring adherence to employment laws and policies.

  • Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) – Championing a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
