Climate Action Plan Task Force

The Climate Action Plan Task Force has been created to achieve the following objectives:

To develop and recommend to the City Council a Climate Action Plan that:

  • Establishes targets and dates to achieve reductions in GHG emissions from community and City government activities;
  • Develops strategies that can be implemented that will help reduce emissions to meet those targets;
  • Determines the methods to educate and involve community members in a program to reduce GHG emissions and meet the established targets; and
  • Includes a plan for the use of Federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds expected to be received by the City in future years
