At the June 27, 2016 City Council meeting, City staff presented the County's validation of petition signatures related to the development of an 87-acre parcel of land known as "The Quarry". A copy of the staff report can be found here.
The City Council directed staff to prepare an informational report on the ballot initiative related to future rezoning of the Pacifica quarry site as specified by Section 9212 of the Elections Code (known as a "9212 Report"). The 9212 Report must be presented to the City Council and public within 30 days of the Council's action.
The City Council required that part of the report include answers to questions about the initiative submitted by the public. The City of Pacifica has established a special email address (email@example.com) to collect questions from the public related to the development initiative presented by property owners of "The Quarry". The deadline for submitting questions on this issue was 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
All questions and responses to them were compiled into categories and released to the public as part of a "9212 Report" that was presented to the City Council at its meeting on Monday, July 25, 2016.
The agenda and reports for the July 25 meeting were published on Friday, July 22, 2016. City Council agendas and reports are available here: http://pacificacityca.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx
